Princess Tankini Swimsuit Pattern
The Princess Tankini is the most practical swimsuit – ever! These swimsuits have the wearing ease and practicality of a two-piece suit (meaning you can remove the bottoms easily even when wet), combined with the full-body coverage of a skirted one-piece. The Princess Tankini Pattern Swimsuit Pattern conveniently covers the midriff area, tummy, and upper thigh area better than a one-piece.
Also included with the Princess Tankini Swimsuit Pattern are 5 different bottom options – a regular or bikini bottoms, boy shorts, thigh-length shorts, or Capri leggings. The built-in bra uses pre-formed foam swim cups. Customers sometimes omit the g-hook/swimwear clicker from the back and wear as a summer top.
This Pin-up Girls Princess Tankini Pattern Swimsuit Pattern includes eleven sizes from bust 32 to bust 52.
Materials Required:
This pattern includes a choice of 5 bottom styles: regular cut or bikini bottoms, boy shorts, thigh-length shorts or Capri length shorts. All pattern options all designed for use with spandex blends, with stretch in both the lengthwise and crosswise directions.
.7 m (¾ yd) of spandex blend swimsuit fabric for the top of the tankini. More fabric is required if using a border print

.7 metres (¾ yd) if making the longer bottoms
5 metres (5 ½ yds) of 3/8” swimsuit elastic
.5 metres (½ yd) of swimsuit lining
1 pair of bra cups in your size
1 strip of interfacing 2″ wide x 8″ long
Swim or Plush-back Elastic ½” – ¾” wide (12 – 19 mm) to fit comfortably around your rib cage
1 swimwear clicker, G-hook or other fastener 1”(25 mm) wide
